These are a few of my maths problems

Paige has 27 rugby cards and Sheales has 9. How many do they have altogether? 36
27 + 3 =30 so that means I took away 3 from the nine and added it to the 7 to make a tidy number the tidy number is 30 and then there was 6 left from the nine and 30+6 is 36

Atareita has saved $36 in pocket money. Ajani has saved $12. How much money do they have between them?
36 + 12 =48
36 + 2 = 38
12 - 2 = 10
38 + 10 = 48

47 + 9 =
47-1 + 9+1 = 46 + 10 = 56.

44 + 8 =
8 + 2 = 10 because I took away 2 from the 44 so 44 - 2 = 42 and 42 + 10 =
52

17 + 12 =
17 + 3  =20  because I took away 3 from the 12 so 12 - 3 = 9 and  9 + 20 =
29

37 + 9 =

9 + 1 = 10 because I took away 1 from the 37 so 37 - 1 = 36 and 36 + 10 = 46
