This term team five has been learning about Force and Motion. The reason why we are learning about Force and Motion is because it helps us to understand what force and motion means and for others to understand as well. 

My group and I only had two ideas, and we couldn’t decide which experiment to do. Our first idea was the Marshmallow Shooter. Then our second idea was the Water Transporter. They were the only two ideas my group and I could think of. 

Our first one we did was a Marshmallow shooter and our second one was called The Water Transporter. We tried the marshmallow shooter first outside, and that was a success. Then our second experiment was the Water Transporter, it was also a success. But the issue was that the water transporter took a bit longer than we thought it would. 

Was our experiment Successful or was it a failure? Well both of our experiments we tried was a success. Why? Because my group and I followed the instructions carefully, and also my group and I listened very well and knew what we were doing. So I think my group and I did a successful job at our experiment. 

Next time we will be more prepared to bring our own equipment and make sure to be ready before the day we present our experiment. Next time we need to come up with more ideas and listen to what other people come up with.

How to be a good role model

       How to be a good role model.

Role Models are all around us, even though you may think that they are not or you're not, everyone can be role a model. There are many ways to be a role model.

One way to be a good role model is to set an example for the younger kids. By setting an example you should always be respectful of the people around you. If they see you doing things that you should be doing then they will follow you.

Another way to be a role model is to not be afraid to be yourself. What I mean by this is to not change just because other people are around you just got to be yourself. When you be yourself people will see the real you.

Lastly you should always communicate with everyone. When you communicate with everyone they won’t be scared to communicate with you or other people. When you communicate with people everyone can get along.

These are my three ideas of how to be a good role model. If you have forgotten them here they are, Set an example for the younger kids, don’t be afraid to be yourself and lastly communicate with everyone.

3D Shapes

For the pas 2 weeks or so we have been learning about 3D shapes. We also have been learning about how many edges faces and vertices they have. A Piece of Paradise

The half and hour Polyfest wait

On Thursday the 16th of March 2017 we went on a trip to polyfest. We didn’t just go to polyfest to watch people perform we went there to learn new things. This post is a reflection of what we did yesterday.

As we got to polyfest we were looking around to see what was happening. Then we hand to sit down. We waited so long for other schools to come that I almost fell asleep. But luckily the last school arrived. After That our teacher were introducing us our tour people. Tour people are people that show you around somewhere you have never been before.

During the day we went to a stage and music was playing so me and friends were dancing to the songs. As we were dancing out of nowhere these college girls came and were dancing with us. Some of the people who were playing the songs were from NIU FM. They announced that they were going to hold a dance battle. As we were dancing we didn’t get picked, but we didn’t care because we were having fun. Our Parent helper was my friend Kerstein's Mum , and in our group were were me Kerstein, Aneelis , Alisha and Angel.

Just before we were leaving we went to go get a Moko and take a photo. We hand to wait in this long line for the photo booth. Then we were supposed to get together at 2.00. We were the last ones to get there but luckily we made it in time. At the end of the day I had fun at Polyfest and I hope to go back soon. Polyfest is a really exciting place.

This is my movie based on Solid liquid and Gas. The reason why it is based on those thing is because this terms topic is all about changes so i created a movie to show what a solid liquid and Gas is, I have also given some information. Hope you enjoy.

If I were at the olympics

Every 4 years the Olympic games are held. People from countries around the world represent their countries at the Olympics. They can also show the world what they can do. When the olympics is  being held in different countries. It can actually help the population there for some people to become athletes and for other people from other countries become inspired. The olympics also helps what kind of sports they do.

When Justin Gatlin trains. People like his coach manager and others. Help him set up hyper speed cameras so that when it takes photos they see the structure of how he runs so they can see how they can make him faster.They also train, detrain a little bit and build back up for another championship. Other Athletes do other things like swimming, running weight lifting and more so that they can get better at what they can do to improve.

Coaches, Trainers, Nutritionist, Physiotherapist, Sports Psychologist and many others are trying to find a way to make each athlete become a miller second faster. In order to achieve a medal the athletes use Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths to bring themself and their team to olympic glory. The Technology team take a video of the athletes doing their event and tell them what they can improve and how they can improve it.

When an athlete wins they are Happy Excited joyful but they also cry with tears of joy and they celebrate. But when athletes lose they are angry sad and disappointed in there self that they didn’t win. For Example Usain Bolt won the men's 100m race with Yohan Blake and they went around hugging their supporters. So I hope to be at the olympics one day.
