Hemisphere

Today we mad 3d shapes out of clay. The shapes me & my panther Atareita made were a cube , cylinder , pyramid and a hemisphere. These shapes will be permanent when they are dried out.  The shape I will be talking about is a hemisphere ( a half of the earth, usually as divided into northern and southern halves by the equator, or into western and eastern halves by an imaginary line passing through the poles.). This was a really easy shape to make because all you have to do is make a circle and then half it and then you have a hemisphere.

3D Shapes

WALT  identify and describe 3D shapes
For the pas 2 weeks or so we have been learning about 3D shapes. We also have been learning about how many edges faces and vertices they have. If you look through my presentation you will see my 3d shapes and you will also see how many vertices faces and edges they have I also have made a screencastify about it. Enjoy!
